2-13 July 2019: Youth exchange: Share it outdoor in Georgia

Stichting Schoolclash (The Netherlands) & Youth For the World (Georgia) are organizing the “Share it Outdoor” project, which focuses on gender equality, discrimination and social inclusion through outdoor education (hiking and outdoor activities) together with 40 young people from 8 different countries! With this youth exchange we would like to establish an open dialogue about gender equality and the existing gender roles in our society.

The youth exchange takes place in the eco-village of Pona, Georgia. We stay on a campsite that is surrounded by nature and the low mountains of Kacheti. This is located in the eastern part of Georgia. During the exchange the food and drinks are taken care of and we stay in 6 and 8 person tents.

For whom?

For this project we are looking for enthusiastic participants between 18 and 29 years old, living in the Netherlands or Germany.

Costs:

The Youth Exchange is funded by the Erasmus + Youth Program. And is therefore free of charge for the participants.

This includes:

  • Accommodation in 6 or 8 person tents
  • Program costs
  • Food & drinks

The travel costs are reimbursed up to a maximum of 530 Euro (for Dutch participants) and 360 Euro (for German participants).

Registration:

Travel expenses are reimbursed 2 months after the project. Additional travel insurance is mandatory (and is not reimbursed).
